Une partie, un duel, une bataille tactique

Dans Football Card Game, deux joueurs s’affrontent dans des matchs rapides, intenses, d’environ 5 à 10 minutes. Chaque match est une course contre l’adversaire — mais aussi contre le temps. Car ici, chaque carte jouée consomme une ressource précieuse : le temps de match.

Vous construisez votre deck de 20 cartes en choisissant parmi trois grandes catégories : les Players, qui représentent les joueurs sur le terrain ; les Staff, qui influencent votre style et vos conditions de jeu ; et les Power, des cartes spéciales qui déclenchent des effets uniques. Chaque carte a son coût, ses stats, et surtout son impact sur la dynamique du match.

En début de partie, vous piochez une main de cinq cartes. Une phase de mulligan vous permet de les échanger si elles ne collent pas à votre plan de jeu. Ensuite, le match commence. À chaque tour, vous jouez une carte en attaque ou en défense. Le but ? Faire grimper vos compteurs d’ATK ou de DEF, et surtout, trouver la faille.

Si votre total d’attaque dépasse de 10 points la défense de votre adversaire à la fin d’un tour, vous marquez un but. Mais attention : chaque carte que vous jouez consomme du temps. Jouer vite, c’est risquer de raccourcir le match. Jouer lentement, c’est peut-être rater l’ouverture. À vous de trouver le bon rythme.

Du temps, des cartes, et de la fatigue

Au-delà du duel ATK/DEF, Football Card Game introduit une mécanique cruciale : la fatigue. Les joueurs ne sont pas éternels. Plus une carte reste active sur le terrain, plus ses statistiques diminuent au fil du temps.
